Murderer Valeria Solanis is Idolized by Feminist Movement 1968

Two representatives from the National Organization of women, the group which spearheaded second wave feminism, defend Valeria Solanis, the author of the SCUM Manifesto in 1968 during her trial for shooting a man. SCUM is an acronym which stands for The Society for Cutting up Men. This is yet again proof that this movement was largely a hate movement and an anti-male movement very early on. One of the women defending her is TI-Grace Atkinson who sat on the board of The National Organization for Women. The source is the New York Times dated June 14, 1968:
