Men's Group for Women's Suffrage Stood With First Wave Feminists in 1913

Here we have a newspaper article from 1913 showing that the Men's Federation for Women's Suffrage was mobilizing right alongside Emmeline Pankhurst one of the most prominent first wave feminists in support of giving women the right to vote. There were headed to Downing Street to smash windows according to the article. So if there were men standing shoulder to shoulder with women who were prepared to go to prison for women's right to vote why do we have this persistent myth this lie being repeated by the feminist movement today that men were only united in a patriarchal mass in order to oppress women?
